Shelby VanderBrook
LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST
Shelby graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY. There she completed over 3,000 hours of intense didactic and clinical training to receive a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Shelby is a licensed practitioner in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Shelby has practiced in a variety of clinical settings including the Seneca Falls Health Center, NYCC Campus Health Center and treating veterans at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua, NY. Shelby received several distinguished service awards including the Hua Tou Humanitarian Award while at NYCC.
Shelby relocated back to the Finger Lakes from her previous practice in Greensburg, PA where she specialized in orthopedics and fertility. Through the four years of running a high volume practice, she developed well rounded skills in addressing and treating the various needs of patients' health concerns. Prior to attending graduate school, Shelby completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Saint Bonaventure University.
Outside of the office, Shelby enjoys working out, gardening and enjoying the outdoors.
